Terms of Service

Mutual Covenant is a service and brand operated by Computer Pro Network LLC.

Mutual Covenant, operated by Computer Pro Network LLC, provides church management software and related services. By creating an account or using Mutual Covenant, you agree to these terms.

The service

Mutual Covenant is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for churches to manage members, visitors, attendance, giving, ministries, events, volunteers, pastoral care, documents, and communication. The legal provider of the service is Computer Pro Network LLC.

Accounts and churches

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, for keeping login credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Church owners are responsible for users they invite and for the data their church stores in Mutual Covenant.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other churches’ data, or use Mutual Covenant for unlawful purposes. Your use of Mutual Covenant is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We may suspend access to protect the platform or other customers.

Plans and billing

Paid plans, trials, and related billing terms are described on the Billing Terms page. Subscription fees are charged by Computer Pro Network LLC for the Mutual Covenant service.

Online Giving (Stripe Connect)

Online Giving is included with every plan and lets a church accept donations through a Stripe connected account that belongs to the church. Payment processing and connected-account services are provided by Stripe, Inc., and a church that enables Online Giving also agrees to Stripe’s connected-account terms, which are presented during setup. Mutual Covenant does not add a per-transaction fee to donations; Stripe charges its own processing fees directly to the church’s connected account according to Stripe’s current pricing. Mutual Covenant is not a bank or payment processor, does not hold or pool donated funds, does not perform identity verification, and does not insure or guarantee church funds. Stripe pays out funds to the church’s bank account according to Stripe’s payout schedule. The church is responsible for refunds it initiates, for responding to disputes through Stripe, for any fees Stripe charges, and for the accuracy of the information it provides to Stripe. Mutual Covenant records successful online gifts in the church’s Giving records; Stripe’s records are authoritative for payment amounts, fees, payouts, and disputes.

Online Giving compliance

Online Giving is currently available only to eligible U.S.-based churches and religious organizations, and an owner or administrator must accept the Online Giving compliance terms before it can be enabled. An organization using Online Giving must comply with Stripe’s applicable agreements and restrictions, including Stripe’s Prohibited and Restricted Businesses list, and must not use the service for prohibited or restricted transactions, including those described in our Acceptable Use Policy. The organization must provide accurate information identifying the persons, beneficiaries, and organizations associated with its Online Giving when required for compliance screening, and acknowledges that Mutual Covenant screens donors, organizations, responsible individuals, and funds offered online against official sanctions and restricted-party lists. The organization authorizes Computer Pro Network LLC to suspend or restrict Online Giving when reasonably necessary to address fraud, sanctions, prohibited activity, payment risk, or legal requirements. Suspension stops new online gifts; it does not delete giving history or prevent refunds and reconciliation.

QuickBooks Online integration

The QuickBooks Online integration is included with every plan at no additional Mutual Covenant fee. A separate, active QuickBooks Online subscription purchased from Intuit is required and is governed by Intuit’s terms; QuickBooks is not provided by Computer Pro Network LLC. The church authorizes the connection, chooses its account mappings, and approves each transfer before it is sent. The church remains responsible for its accounting records, for reviewing transfers and corrections, and for reconciling its accounts in QuickBooks. Mutual Covenant sends accounting summaries only, does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice, and is not a substitute for a bookkeeper or accountant. Your data

Your church retains ownership of the content it enters. You grant Computer Pro Network LLC a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide Mutual Covenant. See the Privacy Policy and Data Processing & Security pages.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Mutual Covenant available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features and these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Computer Pro Network LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Mutual Covenant. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
