Accept secure online card and bank contributions directly through Mutual Covenant. Stripe handles payment processing, verification, and payouts to your church's bank account.

How it works

Set up in minutes. A church owner or administrator clicks Set Up Online Giving. Stripe verifies your church and collects payout bank details inside Mutual Covenant.
Share your giving link. Members give from the Member Portal; guests give from your church's public giving page. Card and ACH bank payments are collected by Stripe's secure payment form.
Everything is recorded. Each successful gift is recorded once in your Giving ledger, reports, and contribution statements. Funds go straight to your church's own Stripe balance and then to your bank account.

Fees

Online Giving is included with your Mutual Covenant subscription. Mutual Covenant does not add a transaction fee. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.

Mutual Covenant fee: $0 per transaction
Stripe, domestic cards: 2.9% + 30¢ per successful transaction
Stripe, ACH Direct Debit: 0.8% per successful charge, capped at $5.00

Which plans include Online Giving?

All of them: Starter, Growth, Pro, Complete. No Online Giving add-on is required, and payment security is identical on every plan.

Security and privacy

Online Giving is built directly into Mutual Covenant while Stripe securely handles the payment infrastructure behind the scenes. Card numbers and bank account numbers are entered into Stripe's own secure form and are never seen or stored by Mutual Covenant or your church. Each church has its own Stripe connected account; Mutual Covenant never holds or pools donations.

Payment processing and connected-account services are provided by Stripe.
