Prepare a CSV

Export a clean CSV from Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.

A clean CSV makes importing smooth.

Export to CSV

Excel — File → Save As → CSV UTF-8
Google Sheets — File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv)
Apple Numbers — File → Export To → CSV

Recommendations

Save as UTF-8 CSV so names and characters import correctly
Put clear column headers in the first row
Use consistent date formats (for example YYYY-MM-DD or MM/DD/YYYY)

Important

Never include passwords or security credentials in an import file.
